Dr. Rama Sithanen - Chairman
Dr. Sithanen, based in Mauritius, was the chairman of SANNE group, the largest fund administration company in Mauritius. Rama is recognized for his role in establishing Mauritius as an International Financial Centre when he was Minister of Finance from 1991 to 1995. He was also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Economic Empowerment between 2005 and 2010. Dr Sithanen is the present Chairman of the Rwanda Development Board and advises the Government of Rwanda on taxes, competitiveness and financial services issues. He read Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and holds a BSc with first class honors and an MSc with a mark of distinction. He has a PhD is Political Science from Brunel University, UK.
Mr. Shakeel Mohinder Dyall - Director
Mr. Dyall, based in Mauritius, is the Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member of Thomas Cook Mauritius, a fully owned subsidiary of Thomas Cook India. At Thomas Cook, Shakeel is responsible for the implementation of all strategic decisions taken at the Board and oversees the day-to-day management of Thomas Cook Mauritius. Prior to Thomas Cook, Shakeel held executive-level positions at Mauritian companies including Flemingo Duty Free, Mauritius Duty Free Paradise, and Infokeens. Shakeel is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and holds an M.Sc. in E-Business from the University of Mauritius. He is also a member of professional organizations including Association pour le Progrès du Management and the Mauritius Institute of Directors.
Mr. James Ferguson Paton - CEO and Chairman of the Portfolio Review Committee
Mr. Paton, based in Malta, previously worked at First Reserve from 2011, when he opened the Hong Kong office, until 2018. Jamie has many decades of experience in deal origination and structuring to due diligence, execution, monitoring and business development. Prior to joining First Reserve, Jamie was a Senior Advisor at AEA Investors (Asia) and was previously the Head of Asia for Candover Investments plc, where he was responsible for establishing Candover’s operations in Asia and managing investment and business development activities in the region. Prior to Candover, he was a Partner in 3i’s Global Growth Capital business, where he was responsible for 3i’s presence in North Asia and where he co-led 3i’s Asia program. Mr. Paton holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.
Mr. Gautam Godhwani
Mr. Godhwani, based in San Francisco, is an entrepreneur and investor with over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Gautam is currently a partner at Green Era Capital which invests in early stage technology companies. Previously, he was Co-Founder & CEO of Simply Hired, a job search engine with 30 million monthly unique visitors. Simply Hired raised over $40 million in funding and was ultimately acquired by Recruit Holdings in 2016. Before Simply Hired, he was Co-Founder & CEO of AtWeb, a Web tools company with 1 million small business customers, which was acquired by Netscape/AOL. Gautam also co-founded India Community Center, the largest Indian community organization in the U.S., which operates several facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area, serving the community with 500+ programs and events annually. Mr. Godhwani has previously held positions at Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Microsoft.
Mr. Tosveersingh Parmessur
Mr. Parmessur, based in Mauritius, used to be with a leading regulated Mauritian administrator for around five years. He has more than 12 years of experience in the global business sector with considerable experience on the structuring, administration and accounting for different types of investment vehicles. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Mauritius. Mr. Parmessur has been awarded with the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and is also an ACCA member. He is also currently completing an MBA.









Mrs. Shaheen Noorie Manjoo
Mrs. Manjoo, based in Mauritius, has over 12 years of experience in the global business sector and previously worked with 2 leading management companies in Mauritius. She has been with GFin Corporate Services Ltd for the past 7 years and considerable experience in the administration of global business companies in the field of structuring and setting up of private companies and funds. She has exposure in corporate secretarial, accounting and taxation matters, and also serves as non-executive director on the boards of various Funds and investment holding vehicles. Mrs. Manjoo holds a BSc (Hons) Business Economics with Information Systems from the University of Mauritius and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants.
